The striped Harlequin male x homozygous VPI caramel female pairing-- I may allow that harlequin male to be that female's primary breeder. I haven't decided yet to back him up with another homozygous VPI male.

Though the male in the Salmon Super Jungle x homozygous VPI caramel female pairing appears interested in the female, I will be backing him up with a homozygous VPI male.

The big feisty female Super Jungle appears interested in breeding this year with a homozgous VPI caramel male. They are pictured below as well.

The Hypo Jungle female x male homozygous VPI Caramel male look good as well.

The female Super Jungle is being bred. We'll see if she takes. A litter of all double hets would be nice.

The male striped Harlequin is breeding her again today. I still haven't decided whether to back him up with a homozygous VPI Caramel male. Chances are I'm going to leave him be as her only suitor this year.

I probably will leave him as her only breeder. I think that striped Hypo Harlequin male could produce some hot offspring though he looks wierdly dark in these photos.

Here is VPI male # 10 doing it with a big female Super Salmon. (Super Salmon female #2)She is also a virgin female that was grown for this project.

Also attached is a photo of the female so we can she see what she looked like before she got all dark and toey this season..

And swollen looking, I might add.

I threw a pair of Super Salmons together. Both the male and female are offspring of Super X Super breedings. The male is pure Salmon the female is an Orange Tail/Salmon mix. They are not siblings, nor are their parents siblings, either. Of course they are both dark and toey at present, thus they look nothing like their former radiant selves, which was similar to the blue tub photo in the post just above this one..

I do have a sister of this female which I plan on using for the VPI Caramel project, maybe next year.

I put male # 12 on an absolutely stellar hypo Harlequin female. She is a virgin, I grew her for this project.
